Polly Lewis Bradley was born in 1932 in Oklahoma to Edith Louise Browning and Robert Samuel Lewis. She was a member of the Radcliffe College Class of 1954, and in 1956 married Charles Lawrence Bradley, who had been a student at MIT. Polly Bradley worked as a journalist and editor.
